Facilities

Portable Toilets, Showers and Bins are setup over the course of the event. For those who are camping, there is no cooking or power facilities available.

Models can be stored on site in multiple different ways as listed below:

 

- Marquees that Pilots Hire.

- Personal Shade Texts that Pilots bring.

- Communal Storage Shelter located to the side of the main bitumen entry area.

NOTE: FOA organisers and The Goondiwindi Shire Council take no responsibility to any models or equipment that Pilots store on the premises.

The Camping and Caravan sites are not on the Inglewood Airport and is located just outside of the main gates.

​

Each site will be numbered and  allocated to those who register online.

There will be the following flight lines setup over the course of the event:

​

  • Main Bitumen Runway

  • Grass Runway

  • 2nd Bitumen Runway (Opposing end of Runway)

 

There is no restriction of Size of RC models to be flown on each Flight line. However, we ask all Pilots to take in consideration before starting and taking off what models are currently in the air and that we be mindful to not have 2 completely different models in the air e.g., Lets not go starting and taking off your Jet or Aerobatic Model while there is a few WW1 models in the air.

ALSM along side the Goondiwindi Shire Council are continuing to further improve and bring more Facilities to Inglewood Aerodrome over the coming years to help further facilitate not just Aeromodellers but also the SES and RFDS.
